We welcome everyone with an interest in the fiber arts. You may join at anytime. Just click here to download a Membership form. In addition to attending our meetings, events, and workshops, members can also avail themselves of our library and guild discount programs.
HWBC has an extensive lending library containing materials related to weaving, spinning and other fiber-related arts. It includes books, periodicals, exchange bulletins and various historical data. To access an index of library materials, visit Library Thing. Please see the newsletter for user name and password.
The books are kept at Margrith's home. Contact her to arrange a time to look through the library at her home. The books are arranged on our shelves alphabetically by author's name, with some exceptions for oversized or very small books. If you would like a book brought to you at a meeting, or if you have any questions, contact our librarian, Carlana.
The guild also has a variety of weaving and spinning equipment available for rent to members for a nominal monthly fee.
Shopping for fiber and equipment? You can click the link below to get discounts on your fiber needs from the Woolery. When you shop the Woolery from this link, not only do you receive a discount on your purchase, but the guild receives a small percentage also. What's not to like about that?
Prefer to shop at Halcyon Yarns? Visit their website and when you get there, click on the link that says "Guild Rewards" for instructions on how to participate in their program. You will find our name (Handweavers of Bucks County) in the list of participating guilds. When you associate your purchase with the guild name, we get up to 5% back on your purchase.
